Duolingo | Flip the Bird
Most language apps teach you how to get by, but Gen Z wants to learn how to connect, and that often starts with the words you aren’t supposed to say. So we used harmless literal phrases with hidden meanings to show that the world’s #1 language app already teaches the words people want to learn most.
Placing where the urge to swear hits the hardest, we’ll use time sensitive ads that reveal their true meanings after dark.
Interactive touch points people can engage with in real life, where QR codes unlock mobile AR to reveals each phrase's censored true meaning.
