On-going Project|Missing Dogs
In-home targeted ads for one person only. Aimed to convince my boyfriend that we should get a dog.
“Missing Dog” posters that lean into the emotional side of what is missing in one’s life when they don’t have a dog.
Posters were printed and placed throughout the apartment specifically in places where you'd want to feel the presence of a dog the most.
Stunt
Because space is a thing when you live in an apartment in NYC you have to think out of the box- or in this case, maybe in the box. Taped zones in the apartment were used to show exactly how much space owning a dog would take.
Social
Periodically sending YouTube videos and DM’s of dog/puppy content to boyfriend will help keep the idea top of mind. A fun and playful approach that feels like sharing and connecting over cuteness but really its an algorithm take-over in disguise.
Results
This project is still on-going. My boyfriend now says “when” we get a dog instead of “if”.
It’s a long- game.
