Ronald McDonald House| GG for Good
Kids battling serious illnesses majorly miss out on the best parts of their childhoods. Thankfully, the internet makes it easier than ever to connect people who aren't – or can’t be – physically close. Ronald McDonald House will partner with Twitch to provide kids with exciting childhood experiences while giving potential donors a chance to connect those they’d be giving back to.
“GG” stands for “Good Game”
It’s widely used in the gaming community. Real gamers, real kids, playing for a real good cause. That’s GG.
Twitch – and the popular streamers on the platform – is known to be one of the most charitable social platforms in the world, making it a no-brainer partnership. Built-in donation options will allow streamers to raise money directly for kids at Ronald McDonald House.
Socials
On social, we’ll collaborate with streamers like Ninja, to share the event details to his not-so-humble internet following.
Using tournament-style brackets, we’ll pair up popular Twitch streamers with children currently at Ronald McDonald Houses.
To further boost donations, we brought to life exclusive in-game skins designed by the children staying at Ronald McDonald House. Skins were debuted during the tournament launch and after went live for purchase, turning player participation directly into donations.
